The aid was handed symbolically by its leader Zainal Abidin to Indonesian scouts movement (Pramuka) leader Azrul Anwar at Aceh''s scout headquarters in Banda Aceh, Pramuka spokeswoman Setembri Yanti said in a media statement. The aid, which is still in Medan, consists of 13 containers of clothes and blankets. The Brunei scouts also delivered 1,000 food rations for children and 1,000 packages of utensils. "We are still collecting more aid and raising funds for the victims. I expect they can be handed over by February," Zainal said as quoted in the statement. Zainal and four other Brunei scouts officials visited a displaced persons camp where Indonesian scouts ran various activities for children before heading to Ulee Lheu beach, which was decimated by the tsunami.
