World Scout Foundation dalam laporan tahunan 2004 memuat foto-foto dan kegiatan Pramuka Peduli dalam membantu korban bencana Tsunami di Aceh. Berikut kutipannya :
"The Indonesian Scout Association (Gerakan Pramuka), the world’s largest with 8 million members, ensured that they sent fit and well-trained teams to Aceh to support the work of local authorities and international agencies. Over 600 young men and women, dressed in their bright orange and brown uniforms, worked on the ground in the emergency phase of the operation."

MENYONGSONG Hari Raya Idul Fitri 1426 H, Kwartir Nasional (Kwarnas) Gerakan Pramuka kembali mengadakan aksi pramuka peduli yang bertajuk "Karya Bakti Lebaran". Kali ini, kegiatan tersebut mendapat dukungan dari Kantor Kementerian Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan perusahaan produk makanan Nestle Koko Krunch.
